Default Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Generations

Quote:
Namco Bandai confirmed that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations will be released in North America too. The announcement came with screenshots of Sasuke using Susanoo while fighting the Raikage. C and Darui, two of the ninja from Kumogakure, are in the fight too.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations also goes back to Naruto’s very first mission where Team 7 fought Haku and Zabuza. You can play as young Naruto in this title too.

Namco Bandai promise Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations will have more playable and support characters than any other game in the series. Like CyberConnect2′s previous title, Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations will have an online battles. The game is slated for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next year.

Teaser Trailer

I'll probably update this later...

EDIT: *Facepalm...I forgot to put "Storm" in the thread's title...

Looking forward to this. If you can play as pre-Timeskip characters, I wouldn't mind having the Third Hokage back again. plus I still need to get UNS 2.

I would be but I don't have much money and Tales of Graces F comes out this week too. But my birthday is this week so maybe I might get enough money to buy both(though i'm not going to count on it).

I'm picking up both, I'm so excited! I have to order Naruto though, because my Best Buy isn't getting it even though I pre-ordered The ONLY reason I'm still getting it there is because I have enough reward zone certificates to pay for both games. I'll just be playing Tales all week

I want it, but am holding off. I was pretty tempted because of the pre-order bonus. I don't need the cards, but apparently it had something that you could use for online play or something. If it had a laser cel like 1 and 2(collector's edition from Australia) I would have snagged it up.

Due to me moving just can't get it yet, but I will eventually. Not a huge fan of online play for the second game, the players are crazy intense and make it not as fun for me. I did hear that we will get more additions to the backstory of things,
[Show spoiler]like Naruto and Minato's conversation is longer apparently.

I just picked this up yesterday but it's going to have to wait, as I've got tons of other games I've yet to even start (Twisted Metal, Street Fighter X Tekken, plus this and Tales of Graces F, and that's just from the last few weeks).

Definitely gonna pick this up sometime, especially since it definitely features the old characters as well. Glad I didn't pick up UNS2.

If there is one reason to pick up UNS2 it would be the game's story mode. I love being able to explore the leaf village and going to your fights and how cinematic the boss battles were and I was very disappointed that this game didn't have any of that. Of course if all you care about is the game's character roster and online play then there is no point of picking up UNS2 as this game is loads better when it comes to that aspect of the game.

The game is sick. I beat the young Naruto story, Zabuza+Haku story, and started the Sasuke story. Love the new animations. It's great seeing old settings in HD. The combat system is so fun, especially when going head to head online. And being able to customize your online ninja card to your fighting style and name, so good!

Young Naruto story? So, does this game start from early on then? I assumed it would start from the ending of the second game.

You start off with 3 choices: Young Naruto, Shippuden Naruto, or Sasuke(which starts at the first time he and Naruto meet in Shippuden) Every single story has a great intro and ending animation. The Sasuke one seemed more like a "main" intro because it had a theme and credits. Shippuden Naruto probably has the same.

O that's great! thanks for the info, now I want it even more. I will grab it in a couple months after I move probably. I loved the first 2 games, so this is pretty much a no brainer.
