Default Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs - FULL HD 3D - Now Available!

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs 3D Blu-ray pre-order

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs 3D Blu-ray
Panasonic bundle Review
:

Ice Age 3D will end its exclusivity period with Panasonic on August 2nd, joining Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader (which ends its exclusive run with Sony the same day) and Rio (arriving day-and-date with the standard 2D release) at general retail. SRP for each title is $39.99, but you can expect a lot of discounting during the first week of release.

NOTE: Please don't ask for my source, as I am not allowed to mention it by name. The source is the same as all previous news stories I've broken, just search the forum for other announcments I've made in the past.

Good to hear. I already have Ice Age. It's a wonderful 3D BD, great quality 3D. Not seen Rio but I'd like to get it. I don't have a lot of interest in Narnia.

Rio looks like it would be so colorful. One of those titles where the 3D really stands out on Blu-ray. And it's made by the same people that made Ice Age, I believe. So hope it's the same high level quality. Hope the story is entertaining too. I loved the hang-gliding sequence in the theatrical trailer.

Any idea when the pre-orders are going up?

Thanks a lot for your info!

August will be the most expensive month for 3D.

I picked this one up on ebay for about 38 bucks shipped so not too much of a loss. Hopefully Dreamworks follows Fox's lead and starts releasing some of their titles as well.

Watched it last year and it was a great movie in 3D. The 3D effect was nearly perfect in most scenes with plenty of depth to go around.

Since they're both Fox, hopefully that means Avatar isn't far behind.

HHmmm. Last week I bought an import version off ebay for the same price. I guess I should have waited.

I also bought this one off of eBay, it's a great movie! The 3D is excellent. I've used it as reference material a few times when showing the technology off to visitors. Glad to see it's finally getting a general release.

I thought this one was pretty good at the theater. I remember them shooting the berries off the flying dinosaur and thinking that was a fun use of 3D.

I'm sure that's an error since it's been confirmed from more than one source that the 3d bluray is still coming out on that date.

HA!

just noticed he's wearing old school 3D glasses as well!

I would of thought with 3DBD taking off, they'd phase out the old school 3D films

$29.99 at Best Buy August 2nd. $10 off if you buy it with Rio 3d or Dawn Treader 3D or $15 if you buy all three.
