If somebody in the whole world knew what the meaning of life is, believe me, he/she wouldn't be writing in a forum.

live life to the fullest. and don't spend too much time worrying about what happens after it's over. that's one of the biggest problems with this planet.

I don't know what the meaning of life is, I'm not even sure I understand the question. Do you mean what should we do with it? I say whatever you want. I think when you die it'll be exactly like it was before you were born.

Probaly depends on what your religion is. The better question is, if you could live forever, what would you live for?

Immortals have no God has they won't meet their maker.

So in order for there to be meaning, there has to be death. At least humans and their inferior minds belive that there has to be meaning. If you took religion from the world, it would be chaos.

Imagine if a scenario like Torchwood: Miracle Day happened. Religons would see a dramatic decrease. If God only exists in the mind, and when the mind determines it has no end...then there is no purpose.

When we were given the ablity to think, we want to leave a legacy. So people know who we were. If you take away death, you take away legacies.

Sorry....

I've always believed the answer is to leave a legacy of some kind. Either through a professional accomplishment that makes an impact in the world, or by simply starting a family, raising children, and procreating the human species. Most of us will probably lean toward the latter.

Or destroying it...we need to start regulating the birth/death ratio. Carry on like we are now and we have some very difficult times ahead. Ahh don't get me started.

Might start a thread on this.

Please do.

Which makes me think, we're nearly 7 billion people. Should nearly 10 billion by the middle of this century. The question is, would population control be moral? Especially because there tends to be a tie/ratio of wealth-to-birth rate.
