Default Good or Bad? Location of BD at Circuit City...

So the other day I went into my local circuit city looking for Blu Ray. Went over to the movie section and all I could find was HD-DVD - no Blu-Ray. Was about to leave when I asked a sales person why they carried no Blu-Ray. He pointed me over to the television secion - they had all the Blu-Ray on display over there...

At first I found this silly, but after thinking about it, does this mean that if a person comes in looking for a high-def set up, that Circuit City is pimping Blu-Ray as the top choice?

Same deal here....except for right after the PS3 was released....they put the BD display over buy the PS3's for a short while....now there back by the HD displays.

What they need to do is lower their high pricing to get any decent amout of sales on these.

The HD-DVDs at my local CC are basically on an isle cap, and a bunch are about $40. I haven't even seen the BR HD movies there, but I plan on buying a PS3 this week or next so that will surely change.

My CC had them facing away from the front door, but in front of the high end tvs. They also didnt have the current weeks blu-rays out and it was 4 days after they were released. He had to go to the back to dig them out. (Though Best Buy didn't have them out that week either or in the computer and could not find them in the back so I am not too sure what was going on that week. This week was better since they had them all out)

CC here has them with the TV's but they now have to racks setup and seem to be trying to get them organized. The HD-DVD rack was very small.
