I set it up, and now it won't even recognize, so it didn't apply it, so I had to pay regular price, even though I did that "buy 3 get 10% off for one year on the rest of the HD orders," and now it's not working.

I bought several HD-DVDs a few months ago, BTW, so it was 2006.

Odd. If you did that, you should be good for a year on BD and HD-DVD purchases.

The discount won't work until they properly mark the pre-sale items as eligible for the discount; it usually takes a few days of complaints for them to properly mark them.

Default Amazon Customer Service Response

I, too, had this problem and contacted Amazon's customer service several times to straighten it out.

Apparently it takes a few days after listing the item before your HD discount will work. Just wait 2-3 days after the item is first listed and then when you log in and order the discount should be reflected.

Of course, I still don't understand why just listing the item and flagging it as an HD title wouldn't make it work immediately.

Well, I ordered World Trade Center, which has been out for over a month.

Anyway, I emailed Amazon, let's see what they do.

Yay, they refunded me a big old two dollars and seventy something-ish cents.

well..thats 10% of $27

I like getting the $19.99 titles for $17 and not paying shipping, and then using them for the ps3 discount (takes another $10 off) for a $7 BRD movie......
