Anyone else looking forward to Breaker Morant? - Blu-ray Forum

I love this movie and was very pleased to see it coming to Blu! I know it's a foreign film, but I think a good amount of people have seen this?

I've never seen it but it's the reviews on the film (and not the disc) is quite good. No reviews on the disc so far. Keep an eye out for it.

if its region free i will buy it , gotta support native film on bluray

G'day all,

I personally couldn't stand the movie. I found it boring. I know it's Australian and all but it's not my type of film.

WEll, I just received an e-mail from Amazon that told me not to expect it until February 8th. I guess there's been a postponement.

I've seen the film and thought it was a good drama, well acted, etc.

For classics from Aussieland I'd like to have on Blu the Peter Weir films The Last Wave, The Year of Living Dangerously, Picnic at Hanging Rock, The Plumber and Gallipoli, ( yes, I know he did Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, but that's an American film, and I want that one, too.)

I'd even pay for a blu-ray to see Caddie again.

And I'd like to have Russell Mulcahy's On the Beach ~ that's actually a TV show, I should have put this up on that other thread
