Yeah, I think so. Anyway there's no excuse for it as Warner could easily fit those films on a BD-50 even if the mono track was lossless.

Exactly, 2.0 is 192kbps so I would asume 1.0 is half, 96kbps! Could anyone clarify this, as I don't own any discs with a DD 1.0 track. If this is the case then the difference between a DD 1.0 track and a LPCM 1.0 track is 672kbps which is even higher than a DD 5.1 track.

African Queen is Paramount and on a BD-50.

DD 1.0 Mono tracks are generally 192kbs DD and lossless does take up more space. Psycho UK has a lossless original mono track in DTS-HD MA at 665kbs while the US has a lossy original mono track at 384kbs.

Now only a few are 1.0 mono though, a majority are actually 2.0 dual-channel mono.
