Default The Idolm@ster 2

I'm sure no one here cares about this game, but former Xbox 360 exclusive is coming to PS3 with bonus content.

Quote:
Xbox 360 exclusive The Idolm@ster 2 is coming to PlayStation 3, according to this week’s magazine leaks. Namco Bandai is making a few tweaks to the popular idol training game.

Game balance has been adjusted and the PlayStation 3 version includes a difficulty mode for beginners. The Idolm@ster 2 also has hyper mode for expert players. The Idolm@ster 2 has a ton of downloadable content. Some of it will be available on-disc in the PlayStation 3 release. Clothes, accessories, and songs from the first to third DLC catalog are on-disc.

The Idolm@ster 2 will be available as part of a box set that includes the first volume of the anime series on Blu-ray, soundtrack CD, and a copy of an Idolm@ster magazine for 19,800 yen ($250). A standalone game will retail for 7,980 yen ($100). Both versions will be available in Japan on October 27.

I'm definitely excited. The version with the anime, soundtrack, and magazine is very tempting, but if it had the full anime series on Blu-ray at that price and not just the 1st volume which will probably only be like 2 or 3 episodes, I would buy it. So for the anime, I can only hope that Bandai, Funimation, Sentai, or whoever can localize the anime to America with a Blu-ray release(even though that's going to take at least a year since Bandai doesn't really like the fact that USA and Japan share the same Blu-ray region since they fear Japanese fans will import the American version).

Apparently, all this DLC comes out to a total of over $300! If so, I feel sorry for owners of the Xbox 360 version...
