I agree with dr_vasanth. Some ignorant members really dont use their eyes to search for existing threads to post. I'm happy too it got released finally. But please warn this sort of people next time to use search function or search manually for existing threads.

i am aware of the existing thread and infact my reply on the thread ll be max
its usual to create a new topic when the bluray disk is released actually,
just not to get confused by the irrelevant posts/discussions made before the release of bluray disk

you can have a search and see that this procedure has followed in previous BD releases too!!!

It is a much awaited bluray and i don't think there is anything wrong in creating a new thread as it has become rare to see tamil blurays and we can analyse about the PQ,AQ and other things in this thread itself.

Looks like we might be in for a rough ride folks! All early indicators point to this Seyons Vinnaithandi Varuvaya blu-ray sporting poor PQ and rumors of NO LOSSLESS AUDIO! Not good..

Shahran Sunny Audit is the HD technical adviser for Ayngaran and frequently supervises their blu-ray projects. He has looked at the Vinnaithandi Varuvaya blu-ray and he thinks that the picture looks great as it is from a DPX source. Also, the DTS-HD MA 5.1 soundtrack sounds great according to him. His assessment as a bonafide expert in this field should be spot-on and his word is good enough for me.

Overall, should be a good purchase, if you can get past the freakin' watermark..
