Sometimes there are times when we we're so busy, whether it be because it's busy season at work, family issues need to be taken cared of, or we're doing other things that take up so much time that we can't watch TV at the moment. Then you visit Amazon or some other store and you see an amazing deal on a Blu-ray movie or TV show. If you miss it, you know you'll be hard pressed to find a deal like that again. But if you buy it, you know you won't be able to watch it for the next few weeks or months because you just don't have the time at the moment. Therefore, you'll risk not being able to return it if a defect is found because the return window has past.
So, would you still buy it even though you may not be able to watch it until AFTER the 30-day return period? |

Yeah I will still buy and have bought blu-rays if its a blu-ray that I want and on its on sale. Movies are usually cheaper during release week or there may be a coupon out there that expires soon(i.e. Disney coupons) or good black Friday deals that are hard to pass up . I have plenty of movies that I still haven't watched, yet alone opened and I hardly ever watch movies multiple times anyways. If I chose not to want an unopened movie anymore for what ever reason, I try to return them to the store(s) despite the 30 day return policy( I just tell them it was a gift and they paid cash for it). Some stores allow limited returns without receipts, you'll just end up getting store credit, or you can also return items easier during the holiday season and a month or two after the holiday season.

Yep, guilty as charged. I do it all the time. First, I am a sucker for a really good price. It's just not limited to BDs, but I'll refrain from that so I don't get OT. Yep, I have more than a few that I have yet to watch. I'm just glad to know that I'm not the only person that does this. Hopefully, I'll watch one before the end of this day. I have a lot of catching up to do.
BTW, I have more than a few PS3 games that I have done the same with. So much geek, so little time. |

If I see a BD on sale for less than $10 that I have never seen and I have at least mild interest to watch I will sometimes buy it. If I don't like it I can usually turn a profit with it on eBay.
I've never had one on BD. There was also a big stink put up by several members a couple years ago that they kept receiving cracked BDs from Netflix, but I have rental a few hundred BDs from them and they have all arrived in perfect shape. |

I visit Blu-Ray.com everyday for news.
![]() I did take advantage of the disc replacement programs for "Gladiator" and "Saving Private Ryan," after seeing the issues on this site. They were worth it. It also helps to look over reviews and forum posts, to understand which discs have poor quality and which ones are okay. |

Yes. I'd get to it eventually. Currently, I have a few blu-rays I haven't watched (mostly documentaries). The only "movie" blu-ray I have that I haven't opened yet is Lonesome Dove; that's because I don't have the time to watch it as a whole or even in parts.
