I agree with Foggy. It seems like Eddie Murphy has not been in a respectable movie in a very long time. The movie looks decent. I am no saying it will be respectable, but it doesn't look like an awful train wreck.

I honestly think it looks entertaining. I look forward to seeing it. Ratner's movies aren't always bad. I actually enjoy the Rush Hour movies, as well as Red Dragon. Yes, X3 is utter garbage, but that doesn't all fall on him. The cast alone for this leaves me cautiously optimistic.

Ratner isn't a bad director, just a vanilla one, so he's nowhere near Uwe Boll level. He's the ultimate studio yes man (so I'm surprised Marvel hasn't brought him aboard to direct any of their superhero films yet).

It "could" be decent/good, though seeing Eddie Murphy play the Old wise-ass "Eddie Murphy" has me a bit...

Norbit costing Mr. Murphy the award is BS, just this year we had a Oscar winner star in a crappy movie during award time and that person still won.

But I will agree though that he has been in some crappy movies as of late.

i had not seen or heard anything about this movie before seeing the trailer but not long into the trailer i was guessing that it was a brett ratner movie. the cast looks good but his movies leave a lot to be desired for me. at least this one is not a sequel for him to screw up though.
