Wow the movie isn't even out yet and it already has a home video release date...

After watching the trailer this will definitely be a rental for me. It almost looks like they've turned Conan into a Dungeons & Dragons character.

Lionsgate marketing knows a stinker when they see it... They should, they release enough.

When I saw the trailer I wondered if the same screwups that did the Clash of the Titans remake did this film as well.

I too will wait to rent. I don't think Conan is going to be "rolling twenties" this time (that's a D&D reference for those of you that aren't nerds [like me]).

This film looks like steaming pile of shit. The commercial was enough to put me off of it.

1. The actor's line in the commercial shows he can't even act. He sounds like some lurch they pulled off the street in some island nation. That's like a real accomplishment when you're being compared to Arnold. ****ing terrible casting.

2. It looks like a shakey cam videogame movie masturbation 2 THA MAX!!!!

In the end, this will be a total disgrace compared to all previous incarnations.

source? not doubting you, just curious.

and for those bashing this remake and saying it will pale next the Arnold ones... c'mon, be honest with yourselves - those are pretty horrible too. FUN, no doubt, but very cheesy and bad.

(I'm not by any means defending the new one. Just saying Arnold's aren't exactly masterpieces of filmmaking, either)

I'll grant that for Conan the Destroyer, but not for Barbarian. That is one of the best fantasy movies ever made, really it is only rivaled by Lord of the Rings but I might actually lean toward Barbarian.

This new movie looks terrible.

I noticed Walmart already had it listed for pre-sale along with LG's The Devil's Double (Same date).

This is being released on home video three months after being in movie theatres? That does not bode well. I thought the only film that got a similar release was the Saw series...

I'll be checking this out in theaters. 3 month turn-around is pretty fast, but if it is worth owning, then what the hey!

I do eventually want to see this one, but I'm not going to the theater and pay those prices for it. Maybe the quick turnaround is just Lionsgate wanting to keep it fresh in peoples minds?

Saw this not-a-remake film twice in theaters, can't wait for the BD to come out.

I hate to say it, but this is the only movie in 42 years that I ever walked out of. I really like these types of movies, but I would not recommend a .99 cent rental. That is not to say that others might really like it. It has gotten a very few mediocre reviews, but I thought it was beyond bad.
