Pity, could've been better than the German release.

Ive never seen the whole Grindhouse experience. Ive already got Death Proof. What are the trailers like? Is a kind of double dip worth it?

Not if you don't like Planet Terror.
Trailers are just skits, one is Machete trailer.

Depends on how much of a Tarantino/Rodriguez fan you are. For me it was an absolute must as I was gutted they split the films here in Australia for both theatrical and home video release. I mean the whole idea was the double feature!

Granted the films themselves are a little shorter as they were padded out for their separate releases but the experience is exactly that - an experience. Some of the trailers are awesome, others are a bit so-so but they're supposed to be schlocky. All in all awesome fun and with Machete out you can do the Grindhouse triple.

Or get really serious and do the Grindhouse quadruple with Hobo with a Shotgun.

Or wait until Rodriguez releases the recently greenlit sequels Machete Kills and Machete Kills Again... In Space! and go for a 6 film marathon!

There are 4 trailers IIRC, as said if you're a Tarantino , Rodriguez nut then you have to get it, and as you like Planet Terror then go for it.

Clearly says DVD and Blu-ray.
I can confirm 100% that it includes Bluray.

Planet Terror/Death Proof are great!

Hobo with a shotgun was pretty damn good too!

Machete was a disappointment

Can anyone confirm that this is indeed full lossless audio and not just a Hi Res audio release?

Apparently it is DTS HD MA 100%, we won't know for sure though until it comes out I suppose

$39.98 from JB. Not exactly a bargain, but eh. Briefly popped it in yesterday, great to see the fake trailers finally included

Saw this in store today... It's the same size as 2 DVD cases side by side.

The worrying part is the back cover states DTS HD and not DTS HD MA, even though I've been told that it is infact DTS HD MA I'm still hoping someone can confirm it soon
