Post Are you gonna cancel your Netflix in September?

I'm on the fence.

I'll probably keep disc for a while but I'm seriously rethinking streaming.

I don't dislike it but I don't really use it very much either.

Nope.

I cancelled a week before my free month trial ended. I got tired of watching "worse than DVD quality video" and listening to highly compressed audio tracks. Never looked back!

I'm down to streaming only. Believe it or not, Blockbuster has stepped up their mail service since I had them a couple years back. Much better turn-arounds.

I cancelled streaming when the price change was announced. There is a 60/40 chance that I will cancel 1 disc unlimited this month if my cost exceeds $1.50 per disk. It was costing me about $1.00 per disk, but lately I have been experiencing delays and non deliveries. Two disks lost in the mail in the last two weeks. I think the P.O. has gone back to machine processing the envelopes, perhaps at the request of Netflix to save money on postage.

I'll just cancel the streaming portion. I like it for docs/indie films/foreign films, but I don't use it enough to pay for it. I'm on the one disc plan and usually watch 2 discs a week that way. With my limited free time I'm only watching 1-3 movies on streaming a month and that's not worth the $7.99.

Hell, once I cancel it maybe I'll actually start watching some of the 300 or so movies I own instead of only watching Netflix stuff!

Keeping streaming, canceling physical media.

Signed up for Blockbuster's service. Bonus I can walk to Blockbuster from my house.

Keeping streaming for the kids, cancelled discs. From now on it'll be Blockbuster or Red Box for rentals.

From the 60% increase announcement, they lost $10+ a month from me (not counting the $ increase).

No. I'm sticking with streaming for a little while, but I already cancelled Discs.

I'll wait a little longer to see if the streaming catalog improves, if it doesn't... i may axe that also

Canceled before my free trial was up.

The vido quality was poor and the show I was going to watch was cropped from 16:9 to 4:3.

I would only ever pay for the streaming... But absolutely not with the quality I saw.

Not the least of which reasons being, I don't have anything else in my area. Including and especially network and cable TV.

(Well, I have those, but they haven't had anything for the last six or seven years. )
