The notorious Gecko Brothers, two of the U.S. most dangerous criminals, are on the run from the Texas police and the FBI after a crime spree through the Southwest. Across the border in Mexico, the mysterious Carlos offers sanctuary to criminals on the lam, but first they must slip past the border patrol. Enter the Fuller family: Jacob, a minister who has lost his faith and his children, the vulnerable teenage Kate and her younger brother Scott, on a road trip in their new R.V. The Gecko Brothers kidnap the Fullers and high-tail it to freedom with the promise to let the family go once they hook up with their criminal connection in Mexico. The rendezvous point is the Titty Twister, the wildest bar this side of the Rio Grande. The night is full of seductive promise as the group settles back to wait for Carlos and his boys to arrive at sunrise. But unbeknownst to the brothers or their hostages, the management and staff of this particular establishment have a taste for blood--in the literal sense.

I Imported the Canadian version a long time a go and the Upgrade was well worth the Buy.

How ever it seems very heavy on the bass.

Wonder if this will handle that the same or better/worse.

Woohoo, yet another I can get rid of from the rapidly disappearing DVD collection. On the same day as Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown too. Would make one heck of a triple bill

Really looking forward to being able to get it on BD. But it won't be a day one purchase due to the fact I already have a boat load of films pre ordered over the coming months, and £17.99 is a bit steep. Will be on the wishlist for a little bit I think.

I'm not sure if i'll buy the movie i'll have to wait and see if i have enough cash in october because october is already going to be a expensive month for me.

It looks to be using the cover from the recent US release, hopefully not the same transfer.

Although in the actual review it did say some parts of it were brilliant, but as a whole pretty disapointing.

I never quite worked out what the Canadian cover was all about. Think I shall wait and see if there is a review of this one before I decide what to get.

One thing I know is my 2 disc Dimension DVD is proper reet bo shite.

RuLeX, it's a temp cover as there are no UK ratings on the disc. This could be a better transfer than the Echo Bridge release. The regular FDTD took up almost a full 25GB disc, came in at like 21GB or something like that.

UK disk is different from US and Canadian by the scan info. It also has a number of extra's (audio commentary, outtakes, "hollywood goes to hell" featurette, etc)

Great news, hopefully it's a better transfer. I already own the CA release, but I'd double dip for sure if the UK discs is an improvement.
