Goodfellas vs. Casino? - Blu-ray Forum

Holy cow Casino is much better than I remember its being. Additionally, I just watched it with headphones, which proved to be a clutch decision because there is music playing in the background in virtually every scene in the film and often overlapping conversation. The soundtrack by the way is unbelievable, mostly drawing from blues, soul, rock & roll, and classical. I love me some Goodfellas, but I have to assert that Casino is the more impressive achievement and stunning film. The filming style presents Scorsese at the height of his prowess.

Casino was a good movie(did not like Sharon stone)... but Goodfellas is one of the best movies I have ever seen.

Both terrific Scorsese,Deniro,Pesci movies but I have to go with Goodfellas as a 10/10 while Casino is a 7.5/10 as I think it runs a little long.

I'll have to go with Goodfellas, but Casino is also superb.

Scorsese + De Niro + Pesci = Genius. I think that's the magic formula.

i love Casino but Goodfellas is an untouchable classic. theres only a handful of movies i like more than Goodfellas.

I like Casino and all, but come on, it's clearly just Scorsese trying to recapture the glory that is GOODFELLAS.

Goodfellas. While I do love Casino NOW, 13 years ago when I first saw it I absolutely hated it. 3 hours of a very violent, over the top soap opera. But now I see it as an overlooked masterpiece and one of the last great Scorsesse movies.
