Australia Australian Pricing

just a question, or suggestion for Australian or any moderator. With all films from the US and UK, they have pricing available and a buy link. of course this is provided via amazon.com, .co.uk but i honestly think Australian release's deserve the same treatment. We have many main retailers many of us base the cheapest and best prices off; jbhifi.com.au, EzyDVD.com.au.
just a thought so all the Australian residents on this site can know the prices right from the site.

Hi Nick,

Australia is most definitely a very important market

However, the reason why the site does not have an Australian price tracker is simply because Australia does not have an Amazon branch with the proper software, which our developers can work with and set up a similar system (similar to the one we have for the U.S., UK, France, Germany). And we discussed having an Australian affiliate quite some time ago.

We do not have a price tracker for Hong Kong/Asia either. See here:

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Outra.../20157/#Review

But this isn't because the developers do not want to have one, or are ignoring the market, but because the vendor's site is not as advanced as Amazon and its branches (for the moment excluding Italy).

My understanding is this is exactly the case with EzyDVD, JB, and I believe even AtlanticDVD.

On the other hand, Amazon-Italia does not have an active price tracker either:

So, things are complicated, but perhaps in a near future we could have an Australian affiliate. However, I do not know what price tracker options there will be.

Pro-B
