video editor software

i need a good video editor software to make like music videos from clips from other videos, i been using Nero Vision for this, but i need a more powerful tool now, any any suggestions?

You could try sony vegas. I have seen some cool videos on youtube that used that.

If you are only able to afford one of these, make a list of what you want out of a video editing package before even looking at these. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. Plug-ins are plenty and can add to the tab considerably. I use all 3 of these and love them all and use them for various projects depending on what I want to do.
