I wish i would have room for a 2CH set up! Have you decided on the gear already??

I have a new center speaker (KEF Reference 204/2c) on order right now.
It's gonna take a little while until it gets here.
I also need to get me a sub EQ!!!!

I always liked the KEF speakers, I had them on my short list before I got the Axioms I also had the ASEQ1(before I got the XT32) and really like the bass management!

For my 2ch I'm working with vintage equipment, I've got a pair of Polk SDA 1C's hooked up to an older Pioneer receiver and I've been looking at Pioneer SX 1050 stereo receivers. I have a Kenwood TT and vinyl but haven't pulled that out yet

Wow, that is impressive (reminds me of the Paradigm CC-690)....so I guess you will continue to use the same center stand then, as it looks like it is wide enough. One other question, what is the actual weight of that speaker, it looks heavy?

The weight is 76lbs. Pretty heavy for a center!!
For now i am gonna reuse the old stand (DIY) but i probably will build a different stand later on! I don't really know yet! It all depends on how it fits my listening position!

Hi Reference, That's a mighty big center. You should definitely be able to hit Reference with that monster. Is this to replace the two smaller centers you are using now?

Are you eventually planning to go with the reference towers for the fronts? That center is amazing.

Just finished unpacking the center and let me tell you, it's a piece of art!
I have never seen such a beautiful speaker!
The plan is to get two Kef Reference 205/2 towers before Christmas!

Man that is going to be an amazing setup. I use to have KEF IQ setup. I am not looking to go back to KEF speakers either with the XQ line or the top of the Qline with the Q900's. Congrats, I can only dream about Kef reference, my wife would shoot that down in a hurry.

Your new center looks awesome! I've had a couple of the large Paradigm centers before and loved them, I'm actually thinking of getting another one shortly. Lets us know how it sounds compared to the two smaller centers.
