FUTURE APPS YOU WANT FOR PS3? Amazon Prime? ESPN? Pandora?

It seems anytime there is a new app introduced for the PS3 it's stuff I don't actually use, such as the Qriocity or Netflix or whatever. I realize a lot of people use that, so that's all good.

But what are some apps you would like the Ps3 to work towards putting on the PS3?

I'd like to see the Amazon Prime Instant Streaming to be introduced. I don't know if there is enough people using that to warrant it, but I'd think a lot of people use that.

Also I was mad when 360 got the ESPN app where you could listen to ESPNRADIO. I'd like to see the PS3 get that once any exclusive rights run out, or at least have Sony do a deal with FoxSportsRadio.

Perhaps Pandora would be a good addition as well.

I agree with you on the Amazon app & maybe the Pandora app or maybe even Spotify. In regards to streaming music I would like to see a SiriusXM app. I have the app on my Evo & iPod & I use it regularly. Maybe there could be an app for different types streaming media other than Netflix, Vudu & Hulu; i.e. like Revision3 content or such. Also, an app that will allow us to surf the Interweb...Oh wait we already have an app for that...

These are some thoughts that I have to add to the mix. Not sure if anyone agrees but it would be nice to have those options...

Definitely would like to see an Amazon streaming app since I have a prime membership. I don't know why they haven't implemented Pandora yet...yeah, we can use the browser to get it but, what bluray player nowadays with an ethernet port doesn't have that feature?

In fact, they should add all the apps they offer on their standalone bluray players. Why should the ps3 NOT have them all.

I know one of my buddies would love an NBA TV app. I personally would want a "Combat TV" app full of MMA, K1, boxing, olympic wrestling, judo, etc fights

I'm hoping when the NBA Lockout ends the new deal includes NBA League Pass to strike a deal with Sony so we can watch it on the PS3.

Time to complete the trifecta with Sony having MLB, NHL, and NFL Sunday Ticket.

But the NBA seriously needs to upgrade league pass and have live streams of games in HD.

But it really doesn't matter to me since my Lakers have a new TV deal that starts in the 2012-2013 season where they will be getting their own TV network that is pretty much like the Yankees YES network.

So I won't need NBA League Pass for 20 or Laker road games that aren't on national TV each season.

Well the lack of an app for PS3 is certainly no reason to not get Amazon Prime.

80 bucks a year and you get the streaming service (with new content added all the time), and free shipping via UPS/FED EX/DHL in 2 days, or overnight shipping for 3.99 per item.

Can't beat that.

It's a good enough reason not to get it, for me. I don't order physical items from Amazon much these days, so the free shipping isn't worth $80 and I HATE watching shows/movies on my laptop. I'll readily admit that $80 a year for a great TV *and* movie selection is more appealing than Hulu's $7.99/month for mostly TV and [whatever Netflix is charging these days] for their crappy streaming selection...but...If I can't access it on my TV with something I already own, it's not worth it.

Ooooh wow, I envy your friend! Lucky him, getting to watch the whole awesome series without waiting a week or several months for the next episode! Do you have them all on DVD or Blu? If not, you can watch the whole series on Hulu Plus via PS3.

We never did get around to buying the 6th season on Blu, but we do watch it on Hulu. I'm rewatching season 6 and on the episode of

Was trying to figure out who my favorite characters were of the entire show.

I came up with the following list (in order).

#1: Ben Linus
#2: Jacob
#3: John Locke
#4: Desmond Hume
#5: Richard Alpert

HONORABLE MENTIONS: Mr. Eko, Hurley, Daniel Faraday

I like almost all the characters, but those top 6 (including Eko) are my absolute favorites.

I wouldn't say Ben Linus was a *favorite* character, because he's kind of a slimeball, but Michael Emerson is fantastic in that role and his character certainly made the show a lot more interesting!

I feel like I should be picking a female character, but they're all so serious! Kate, Sun, Juliet, Claire, Rose, Alex and Libby are all okay.
