I second your opinion, as the amazon JP page doesn't mention 3D stuff.

Maybe I'm wrong but to me that's more or less translated to "Marvel studio's 1st 3D Blu-ray in Amazon Japan's exclusive steelbook".

But yeah, there's no other mention of 3D content apart from that.

Thank you for clarifying. Seems you are right.

There are two non-steelbook versions (2D&3D) of Thor blu-ray from amazon JP. It's not that trivial for the steelbook though.

The 3D is not the SB just regular BD.

+1, all steelbooks from Japan is always been pricey, but it hold its value as far as collection go, I may just get the UK version since it is much cheaper

they are expensive and if they are steelbooks, they are all made from Scanavo, who have the patent.

So am in right in thinking that it is more down to ridiculous pricing over there, as the steelbook must cost the same to make, whether Scanavo make 4000 for the European market or 4000 for the Asian market?

that Boomerang is the worst postage costs I have ever seen

any how the Jap steels allways hold there own and the quallity is awsome !! , I put a Jap Unstoppable next to my Thailand unstoppable and OMG what a difference

the Thai copy was faded and washed out where as teh Jap one was vibrant ..different class guys

btw this has to be one of the worse movies I have ever seen .. It was worse than a "B" grade ... (my opinion) but I am still grabbing a SB for my super hero's collection
