Default America's National Treasures

I wanted to give a heads up on this Blu-ray documentary because right now it's on sale at Target stores for only $5.00. Many of their stores have it in stock and you can walk right in and buy it.

It's a 7-hour, 2-disc set showing National Monuments with the ecology, geology and beauty of the Great Plains, the Geologic West and the Historic South. There is narration throughout and also archive photos and footage. This is not the most polished documentary you will see but it is good and the picture quality is quite decent. Aspect ratio is 1:78:1, Dolby Digital and 1080p. It's hard to complain about $5 and most will not regret purchasing it.

Listing on this website.

I got it and enjoyed it, 5 bones well spent IMO! (By the way, the series is actually called "America's National Monuments")

Default not bad for the $

Pretty decent release (considering this is Mill Creek). I have only watched disc 1 so far and it has some interesting facts and the locations are inspirational. It may lead to my future trips around the Northwest. I mostly wanted to hear about Devil's Tower in Wyoming, which must be on disc 2. Looks like it was shot on a home HD camcorder at times, but as I said--it is informative!

Wow, 5 bucks for a 7 hour documentary. Can't be that bad.

I saw this at Target when I picked up Another Stakeout(also for 5 bucks) the other day. I didn't get it because I wanted to read some reviews first. Sounds like a pretty decent purchase at that price.

My Target had to and I bought one of them and the price was $3.99 plus tax. Thank You OP! Now being about 30 movies behind maybe I can get around watching this while it's still 2011.

It's good. This is probably the biggest bargain there is right now.

$4 for 7 hours of Blu-ray!

I had an extra $5 Target Gift Card so I picked it up yesterday.

I was wondering how the picture quality would be, it is very good. This is a steal for $3.99.

I saw it today in Target and would have bought it but it was $5.00 and as I don't have $1.01 to just throw away I put it back down. I'm not paying over 25% more then the people who bought it last week.

I had a gift card for $5 I found in a drawer, and I thought, "Why not?" I bought it.

It was $5 well-spent, IMHO.

Target

Almost picked this up for $5 at Target, but decided to pass seeming I'll probably never watch it anyway. That's $5 that I could spend on something that I want.
