Play.com now has a placeholder for a 3-Disc Triple Play set, coming 14th November.

The DVD is, apparently, a Puppy Gift Pack, whatever that is. Obviously, I know what's it referring to, but it's not like they're going to give dogs away.

Haven't seen it but I know it got rave reviews so will probably be a day 1 purchase for me.

Fantastic comedy, one of my favourite films I've seen at the cinema this year, I laughed a lot.

Massively overrated. It was very cliched and hardly funny at all. Submarine and Attack The Block have been the funniest films this year, and none of those were even straight up comedies.

Haven't seen Submarine yet, did blind buy the BD, though.
It's on the 'to be watched' pile, along with discs for 2009. Yikes.

I just didn't like it, and many, many others did, so I persoanlly see it as overrated. Just like you would think Attack The Block is overrated. Just my opinion, and I don't expect others to agree.

Having seen 'Bridesmaids' more than once, I can say that it fared worse each viewing and I became bored in the second half because it went lifetime movie of the week on us, as opposed to the first hour, which was consistently funny. I still like it, but the movie is too long for it's own good and ran out of steam before the end.

Some parts were absolutely genius, though:

"I have to go to the bathroom, but I heard about a woman who went to the bathroom on the plane... she got sucked in to the toilet."

If you pre-order it with play.com between now and Sunday you can get Knocked Up for £4.49.

Note that if you do this you can NOT cancel the pre-order afterwards.

Pretty good offer but I'll pass on it. I didn't like Knocked Up that much, and I always like to be able to cancel a pre-order if ever I need or want to. I loved this film though so I've pre-ordered it on HMV.

Yeah I bought Knocked Up from them a few weeks ago for £4.99 anyway. Plus for Bridesmaids other sites is cheaper.

I did take advantage of the pre-order The Hangover 2 and get the first for £2.99 though.

It's a shame the Blu-ray doesn't come with the plush puppy. Ah, well, I'm sure I'll find it on eBay shortly after.

DVDWorldUSA are getting this in any day now and are claiming it'll be region-free. This is Universal so it probably will be RF won't it? It isn't out till mid-november in the UK so may import this one if it is RF
