I sell my slipcovers if any Blus come with them - some I keep but most go. Saves a few further £'s on the purchase.

Yeah that is really sick, I will never do that. Same with Steelbooks, no matter how beautiful the steelie looks I won't buy it if I don't like the movie.

Personally, I think a BD collection looks neater without slips as they are all uniform them, but each to their own.

I'm a sucker for wanting special or limited editions of movies.
Boxed set's with free gifts also get me sucked in so if a movie I'm planning on purchasing has an SB or slip then I'd definitely want a copy with all the bell's and whilstles.

I wouldnt buy a movie I dont like just for the packaging but if there's a movie I'm considering purchasing then finding out there's a boxed set or Steelbook can sway me into purchasing day one ie Thor (Was going to wait for a price drop post-xmas before purchasing but really like getting Steelbook versions of movies when/where available so its now become a day one purchase...some would still consider that sad but hey ho.)

The slipcover doesn't really bother me at all, like my Yu Yu Hakusho Season One slipcover is damaged, but there's almost nothing I can do, or want to.

It came all the way from US to PT, and honestly, the slipcover's in a fine condition, not in its worst, so it's entirely acceptable.

But what annoys me sometimes are the titles and slipcovers that don't follow correctly the alphabetical order or look weird in a way.

For example, I have Batman Begins, Batman Gotham Knight and then on letter T there's The Dark Knight because it doesn't have Batman in its title.

I haven't upgraded them to the blus yet, but my DVD of The Dark Knight is in the B's after Batman Begins.
Similar case with my George Romero dead series, they are under N from Night of the Living Dead up to Survival.
