Denon dropped price of transport bluray player - Blu-ray Forum

I work for Magnolia and we have an instock date of February 1st for the new denon players. Better yet they dropped the transport price from $1200 to $1000. Lets hope to see them drop further.

I am not sure Cris is aware of this I will make sure to tell him when he gets from "Magnolia"

I guess it will be in direct competition with the Pioneer Elite 95 at that price.

The 2500BTCI is available for preorder at a couple of their internet dealers, now, by the way. I have not seen the 3800 BDCI, yet.

I just checked my ability to order the item, and its gives me a date of February 12th. So expect early-mid february release of this beauty.

I'm a bit disappointed that they are not Profile 2.0 players. It also doesn't have any other connection ports other than a HDMI port so it's definitely friendly to older systems.

I wonder what the load times are on this player is.
