Don't think this one is coming as a steel anymore. The preorder link has dropped the "steelbook" heading and appears to be an amaray. Amazon.de lists a very similar copy that also appears to be an amaray.

In the german forum we got a confirmation from the publisher that this - after all - will be a steelbook.

it will look like this - but a lil bit different.



it will be another Saturn Exclusive.
if it will include the 3D version is not confirmed

Just wondering cause Amazon's stock photo has german text on the cover.


Also does anyone know if 3D discs have the 2D movie on it as well?
I'm asking cause I don't have a 3D player/t.v I just want the steelbook, but it would be nice I could play the movie as well.

I'm ordering a copy this weekend. I'm in the US so it should take about 2 weeks. Don't hesitate to PM me, though. I did some searches and could not find a 3D version with the German text, so I'm optimistic that it won't be there and it's just an Amazon stock photo problem.

First edition: 1 disc (3d and 2d version included), paper back, inside artwork, artwork on back

Second edition: 1 disc (3d and 2d version included), no inside artwork and back artwork

Thank you for the notice. I was ready to place an order with Amazon.de but then I double-checked the dates of the Steelbooks because of your post. Are these also re-releases with no inside artwork and no artwork on back?

The complete Sony wave with the release date of 27, November 2012 is a re-release and has some differences to the first edition of the movies (no inside artwork, no back artwork - but printed infos (German text), no embossing, no blue stripe on top, on the right bottom corner on front there's a printed blu-ray logo).

Here's a complete list of the movies:
