Default Paramount? Where are you?

What's the deal with Paramount? They only have one title on the horizon (Babel), Failure to Launch is placed on indefinite hold, and total they have only released a handful of titles. Paramount has many titles that I would like to see on BD, and Day and Date is always good for getting the general public to adopt the format.

I hope they are sitting back for a reason, possibly watching disc and player sales and preparing to go BD exclusive? But seriously, hopefully they are using this downtime to get some great transfers prepared, and lossless audio working.

Well Paramount has been totally formal neutral so far, so maybe the situation is similar to Universals and they're "evaluating" their High Definition strategy? Seems HD DVD releasing studios are on brake from the numbers of releases dripping out... (A friend reported to me Hollywoodland was going to "be late" to ship on his Amazon order. I did see it got shipped to stores)
