Part of the issue here is we all miss Arnold and original Sarah Connor. While little to nothing can be done about Sarah, we can do something about Arnold.
Keep in mind, while Arnold gave us the "in your face" Terminator we know and love today, the original concept was the Terminator is a discreet cybog. This explains the small and cute female Terminator. Let's start naming some guys we would like to see as Terminators in this show. Think of the possibilities. A "guest star" Terminator every season to boost the ratings. Guest Terminators: * Arnold Schwarzenneger (Guest appearance is better than none.) * Robert Patrick (The T-1000) * Christina Loken (The other female Terminator) * Vin Diesel (The "Baldo-nator") * Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (If you smell, what the Terminator is cooking.) * Chuck Norris (Isn't he one anyways?) ![]() Ba-da-ba, ba-ba. Ba-da-ba, ba-ba. Ba-da-ba, ba-ba! Ba-da-ba, ba-ba! Last edited by tron3; 01-16-2008 at 06:12 PM. |

Dunno, I can't imagine other terminators than Arnold and Robert Patrick. Patrick's terminator was very good performance and it did fit the original concept of terminator being "just any guy from the street", which Arnold wasn't due to his physique, but overall that turned out to be great anyway. As an acter R.P. is much better than Arnold, even if I like lots of Arnold movies. In T2 he was friendly and trust inspiring when needed and looked extremally menacing in other scenes. None of the terminators I've seen in TSCC could match either Arnolds zero emotion T-800 or R.P's t-1000...
Today IMHO Robert Patrick would still be good as T-1000. Arnold is waay too old for terminator, even in T3 he looked too old for the role. |

I still liked the concept of Arnold doing a cameo of himself. Basically, the Connors are in LA or something, and catch him on the screen as the Governor. Sarah and John are all confused, but "Cameron" (female Terminator) explains it away somehow, saying he was one of the candidates they based the T-1000 model after. Which, come to think of it, would make sense. Skynet analyzes bodybuilders from the past, and Schwarzenegger would jump near the top.
Plus it would hlp tie the series to the real world. People eat that up. |

Triple H would be a good guest terminator, or someone you would never expect to be a terminator, like Abe Vigoda, he's still kickin'

They should make a Robocop vs. Terminator episode or movies. I'll buy that for a dollar.

I'd like to see an animal Terminator. Who says it has to be human?
Rottweiler Terminator with the IQ of a regular Terminator. I can already envision a great scene where the dog-catcher tries to bag it. It can use a heightened sense of smell to track it's victims. Maybe I've watched too many re-runs of "The Littlest Hobo" and "Lassie" |

MAKES PERFECT SENSE. No real dog will stay around them. They see them as the living dead, or something. They would need a K9 unit.
Would YOU suspect a person of being a Terminator if they had a dog on a leash? I know I wouldn't until now. |

Seriously though, I think it is a cool idea and one which could catch a TV audience off-guard. On Dr Who you had K9, so the idea isn't completely new, but the prospect of (say) a vicious cybernetic Doberman could be novel and truly frightening.
