I don't know which one mine does I have the samsung 4665f model and I can change it to 24fps but I find it to blur my picture like my other and 60fps eliminates just about all motion blur that I had with my older model samsung. But on info it does say it was running on 24fps. So yes I guess even if not really supported, lol.

60hz here... I have to say though: Anything is better than 120hz IMO. I couldn't stop laughing as I watched a 120hz tv playing PoTC the other day at Sears. Haha. It looked like a made-for-tv movie with an incredible budget. It's way TOO smooth. Anyway, I hope to get 24hz sometime soon.

don't only pioneer kuro's do 24 hz for plasma's?
I know my ps3 accepted my tv as 1080p/24 hz, so I'm a little confused. |

Laptop.
Screen is Native 1920x1200 @ 60Hz. Not sure but I think I may be able to crank that up(or down?) via settings. Doubt that it will do anything though, ya know? No idea what the drive is... 24? Last edited by dadkins; 01-17-2008 at 07:31 PM. |

Don't you get 120 fps TVs? That would faithfully reproduce 24fps (each frame displayed 5 times = 120), AND 60fps (each frame displayed twice = 120)
Sorry for the newbie sugestion - but I'm SURE I had heard of 120fps TVs like 5 years ago. ![]() Edit: oh, BTW, I don't own a PS3.. can it output 24fps (or ome multipul of that such as 120fps)? In answer to the origonal question, I use a PC with the display at 60fps, I don't think it supports 24. ![]() Edit 2: Sorry for another newbie question, but are UK Blu-rays different to US Blu-rays? (e.g. 50fps instead of 60fps like DVDs are?) Or are they all stored at the origonal framerate (24fps) at adjusted by the Blu-ray player hardware?
