My friend has an onkyo receiver with 2 zones. He has the surround in the living room and the second zone speakers in the kitchen. Occasionally he likes to have the audio for zone 2 be the same as the living room, but there is a delay in the audio for the second zone that causes an annoying echo. Is there any way to adjust or sync this?

less bump and more hump
![]() ![]() also how close together are the listening areas? i'll gather they are close enough to hear each other based on the "echo". not sure if there is a fix for that but we will wait on the model number and other information you can give. best of luck and i do hope you get your friends issue resolved. ![]() |

Have same question for my Onkyo TX-NR727
My work-around was to use the "bi-amp" setting for the front speakers and connect what is my zone-2 speakers to the bi-amp connection. This has perfect synchronization, but of course is not actually using the "zone 2" feature at all. I'm guessing that this may only be an option for 7-channel receivers. Unfortunately, the original question still stands :' ( |
