And the Extended Cut of the movie is only on the DVD side. Wow, they sure got screwed on that one. Talk about a movie that should have been on Blu-ray.

Tech specs for the HD DVD include 1080p/VC-1 video, and a Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 Surround track (1.5mbps), along with a French dub. (Earlier reports had suggested a Dolby TrueHD track.)

Although the concurrently-released standard DVD versions will include a 174-minute extended cut of the film, the HD DVD side of the combo version will include only the original 157-minute theatrical cut. (Curiously, the DVD flipside of the discwill contain the extended cut.)

...as usual, a crappy HD-DVD version, they couldn't fit the audio, so had to settle for Dolby Digital+, and they couldn't fit the extras probably for the same reason. What a waste.

Once again, showing the "strengths" of HD-DVD. Can't fit the extended version of the film on one disc, let alone have lossless audio for the film itself. Universal and HD-DVD are still a joke.

This is a crime!! This should be one of their crown jewels!! Is there ANY doubt that 30 GB is NOT enough for the best quality available today?
