Dark portoins of pictures seem invisible - Blu-ray Forum

I've had a few instances, particularly with games, where on dark screens, stuff I'm supposed to see appears invisible. For example: in Metal Gear Solid 4's loading screens, there are supposed to be large logos of PMCs, but all I can see is the upper corner of the logo. I know from youtube videos that its supposed to be complete.

I've tried messing with the picture settings but I still can't see it. What setting(s) can fix it?

Brightness, either on the TV settings menu or the video settings under the game options menu if it has one.

The game does indeed have a setting; First time I've ever seen one in-game like that.
