Yes, Aladdin was dropped from the Diamond line after the abysmal sales numbers of the Platinum DVD.

Don't know, but Fantasia was supposed to be Diamond edition and it was not.

Yeah, I would like to see these too. This reminds me of how much I want to see the classic live-action (or live-action/animation mixed) Disneys of the 1960s and 1970s get released on blu.

In addtion to those you listed, I'd like to see:

Darby O'Gill and the Little People
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
The Love Bug
Bedknobs and Broomsticks
The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes (probably should rent this first, I have not seen it since I was, like, 8 years old. I saw it on VHS, and don't remember much except that I liked it).

I am sure there are others I am not thinking of at the moment.

I want to see The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad hit Blu. Got it on DVD and will be pulling it out soon to watch for Halloween, but would like to see it on Blu, with some more extras.

Yes, but they literally try not to think about it. It brings up old bad memories for them.

If Fox and the Hound had to share its disc with its abominable sequel and have practically no features and if the Lion King was relegated to one disc, a half-hearted/screwed with transfer and Virtual Vault, chances are when Hunchback and Hercules come out, it'll be on the same disc, with no features and with the Hunchback sequel and the Hercules TV series all squeezed in at 720p.

The bloody company is getting worse and worse but people buy more and more.

It still was a relative success. I mean it made more money then The Little Mermaid. I would totally buy it.

I dont know why. Both were very good films. Hunchback especially was quite good, with the possible exception of the talking gargoyles. I think it may have been a little dark for younger kids though. But I loved it.

3 million plus dvd's is not abysmal - maybe in the idiots who run Disney now think, but selling 3 million plus of anything is good

Most Platinum Edition titles sold over 1 million units in their first day or week alone. (Snow White, The Lion King and Bambi for example) IIRC, the Platinum Edition DVD of Aladdin wasn't well-marketed. I don't remember a single commercial or ad for it.

Oh well, they should release it on Blu next year along with Hunchback and Tarzan. Those should look stunning.

I did see this OTA HD, HLMKHD I believe...and I thought it looked pretty darn good!
In addition to the obvious animated titles, I'd love to see:

The Last Flight of Noah's Ark & The Black Hole on blu soon!
