Yeah, I'm totally gonna get this and I won't even have the decency to be the slightest bit embarrassed about it.

I just wish it was her 2001 HBO Vegas special instead... That was Britney in true pop princess form. She danced her ass off, burned through approximately 79 costume changes, and even sang a couple of her ballads live.

Still though, this should still be pretty good. It's not like homegirl's over the hill or anything.

I'm so glad that her team is actually with the present times. They announced that it would be coming to dvd so I figured they wouldn't release it on blu-ray but yay that they actually are!

And she sang a few songs, not the entire show, but if you've been following Britney since day one like I have then a few songs is definitely more than I had ever expected. Not an entire show I know, but I still can't help but love her.

So this release could be 3D? It's in my AMZ gold box today so I will preorder it for now, but will cancel if it's 2D.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some Britney, but releasing this the same day as Taylor Swift's Speak Now Tour and Lady Gaga's HBO Special? That's some tough competition...

A lot of her fans say the same thing "You don't go to a Britney concert to see her sing. But for the show." Ummm she doesn't even dance anymore or move much for that matter.. I went to one of her Circus concerts it was cool for like 20 minutes then it got boring.. She wasn't even lip syncing she's just lazy.

yeah and her label forced that tour on her she improved alot since the circus tour as a member said. Plus she was just getting over a rough stage with drugs at that time she should had rush into that tour thats exactly what Jive records didn't they didn't care they want $ the greedy @ssholes they should of been worrying about her help. Hints y Jive is no longer a record label and RCA is handling britney now.

Lady Gaga's Monster Ball is being released the same day. Now she is a real performer and singer. She never lip synchs. And her tour was sooo much better. Cannot wait for the Blu-ray.

Gaga is the new queen of pop and has more talent in her pinky than Spears has in her whole body. She cannot sing live to save her life. She's a has been. Gaga even writes her own music. She's a true performer.

Now I am not a fan of any of these women:

But wouldn't Madonna be considered the "Queen" or pop? She has had the longest longevity.

Britney being the princess I suppose and Gaga hasn't released enough material to be considered anything. IMO plus her latest album hasn't really had any big singles (Minus Born This Way which was the first single so of course it was going to do well). Yet her record company keep churning them out when the public isn't interested. Just let the album die already. I do like Scheiße though
IMO of course

Yeah, that's why I referred to Brit as a "Pop Princess."

I mean, even during Britney's peak (1998-2003,) Madonna was still the reigning Queen of pop music.

However, I do think that it's an undeniable fact that Gaga is major pop music royalty at this point... The amount of power and creativity that that woman has is pretty astounding, and she has built a strong bridge between the worlds of popular music and avant-garde fashion.

That being said, Britney still has an incredibly sexy voice, even if it may not be the strongest out there. It's distinct, it sounds amazing on a well-produced track, and she's a woman who has spent the majority of her life working hard to get to where she is today... Homegirl needed a blu-ray release.

She has already broke more records and accomplished more than Britney in under two years.

wrong. on so many levels.
what has she exactly accomplished and or broke more records than Britney on???
and don't even talk about the Born This Way album selling a million copies in the first week because she practically gave it away with that Amazon sale. Also her singles are steadily declining every time she releases a new one. She is whoring herself out so much that people are really getting sick of her.
I used to be a fan but she has changed, and for the worse. She isn't nor will she EVER be the voice of a generation or anything of that sort nor will her attention whoring ways go down in history as iconic.(the meat dress was for the gays because people treat them like slabs of meat??? really now!?)
Also u wanna talk about performances... please name some that blow people away every time they even hear about it??? Because Britney has a fair few.
Anyways, idk why u would compare the two in the first place when Britney has been in the business for well over 10 years now and Gaga has been around for not even 4 years and has yet to prove herself as a lasting artist in the entertainment industry.
Have a nice day.
