Just wanted to officially say hello to everyone here.

Although I've been following HD since the beginning, I still haven't truly delve into it. In December 2004 I bought my first HDTV, and was quickly disappointed. The picture was great, the set even looked nice, but with a cabinet depth of 25," this was simply too large for my living room. I thought it would be fine when I bought it. A relative soon took it off my hands. Time went by, and I did nothing.

Fast forward to January 2008, and I am in the process of buying an HDTV again for the first time. Things will be different now, as the 25" depth has been reduced tremendously. Hopefully I'll have a decent set-up within the next couple months or so.

I look forward to interacting with the other members here.

welcome to the forums this web site helped me tremendously just read my simple beginnings or something like that in my sig. for help on a tv get the xbr 4 if you can afford it. and if you dont have a blu ray player get a 40gb ps3. it has all the features of the other ps3s exept ps2 games and sd card slots but it runs silent unlike the 80gb.
