PS3 Games Worth Buying?

I've decided on the games I wanna get within the first month of having my ps2.. I'm not sure if they have all been released in america yet.
But if they have can anyone whos played them rate them on gameplay/graphics ect.

With PS3/ In Bundle
Resistance: Fall of Man
MotorStorm (Receipt says F1 but it's not what I asked for lol)

and

Fight Night Round 3
Tony Hawk's 8
Call of Duty 3

I wouldnt bother with Tony Hawk and COD3. COD3 isnt very good IMO, same with Tony Hawk which i found to be a snore fest. Fight Night is great tho. Get that, and also get F1, Motorstorm, of course Resistance and Virtua Fighter 5 along with Virtua Tennis.

I'm definitely a fan of Resistance, and I plan on MotorStorm. Just the demo is amazing enough.

But I too hear bad things about Tony Hawk, so I might rent that first.

if you like fighting games virtual fighter 5 looks good and tekken dark resurection is supposed to be availble for download in the us soon but i dont know about other places

If you don't have that title, I suggest you get one ASAP.

I've seen the game myself (played on an Asian 220V PS3) and even on a puny 26 inch Sharp LCD, it still looks amazing. Since the game supports all RESOLUTIONS (480i/p, 720p & 1080i/p), then even if you have a shi**y TV from the 80s, it will still look superb and AHEAD OF ITS TIME.

Ridge Racer 7 is awesome.

Motorstorm looks nice BUT MAKE SURE that you're TV supports 720p resolution. Otherwise, it would look like some ****ed-up shit on a 1080i-only TV set. (see complaints on Resistance: FOM from 1080i-only set owners)

I suggest Resistance: Fall of Man. The single player is lengthly, fun and difficult with lots of replayability. Online is very fun with the 40 man capacity. Lag is very little making it very appealing to me, seeing as how GOW on the XBOX360 is like a slug at points. Lots of unlockables and friend/clan options. Supports any bluetooth headset which is very convenient. no more wires and its seamless. I also play motorstorm demo, and it is very entertaining. I suggest that as well but it isnt out for another month or so. If you have a PS3 Resistance for me is really a must buy at the moment.
