The second one is definitely better than the first. The first is pretty straightforward, the second one really gets creative and nasty.

If I'm not mistaken, this one is directed by Scott Spiegel, co-writer of Evil Dead II and a producer on the other two entries.

I'm glad about this.

Part 1 was good. Part 2 wasn't as good but it answered LOTS of questions.

Definate pick up.

I too like pt. II better than pt. I. I thought the parallel stories between the buyers and the product was very interesting. The ending had my jaw on the ground (I can't believe Sony would release a film w/ an ending like that).

As far as pt. III. No Eli Roth = no sale.

I thought 1 and 2 were decent considering the amount of horrible horror movies put out these days. Part 3 will probably be horrible, but could be funny just cuz it takes place in Vegas.

I for some reason remembered enjoying the first two more than I do now, but I won't be buying the third.

DVD artwork. Just pretend there's a blu-ray case around it.

First Cabin Fever 2, Now Hostel 3..... I guess they really like to take Roth's original ideas and run them into the ground with horrible Direct to Video releases why would they think its a good idea to set the film in vegas? wasn't part of the first two films success because it played on peoples xenophobic-like fears?

I know plenty of people will claim that the original movies were horrible too but I enjoy the heck out of them

I like the first two, and the trailer has me intrigued, so I will definitely check it out. Wonder how they will top the last one?

I don't like to view movie trailers because, they reveal too much of the film. I rather see the movie fresh in its entirety from the beginning, to the end. To me, movie trailers are spoilers to an extent.

Can straight-to-video horror films please STOP using the term "unrated" now?

The chainsaw on the artwork also bothers me. The blade looks like it's pointing in a weird direction.
