What is your favorite old movie? Or what is the oldest movie that you love the most? I hope that makes sense.

By a long shot my favorite old movie is from 1962, To Kill a Mockingbird I wish it would come to blu-ray disc!

There is not a single movie older than this that I love nearly as much and I mean not even close!

Oldest movie that I love the most? "Metropolis" 1927.

There is a lot of old movies I like

I could name a hundred of them, all before 1960 but City Lights is the champion on my list

So if there is not a movie that is older than City Lights that you love more than City Lights then City Lights is your favorite, make sense?

Das Blaue Licht (The Blue Light) (1932, Leni Riefenstahl)

A wonderful film based on a German legend about a beautiful women (Leni Riefenstahl) condemned by a nearby village as a "witch", living in a beautiful cavern full of crystals that emits rainbows on the sky. It's a testament of filmmaking...

...however it was also what selected Leni Riefenstahl by the Nazi party to create other "propaganda" masterpieces such as "Triumph of the Will" and "Olympia".

BTW, films are a relatively new medium in human histroy, so I just said one of my favorites.
