India/Bollywood 7 aam arivu Bluray

much awaited movie releasing this diwali. This movie surely deserves a bluray treatment for the hype and buzz it created.

Watched this film in big screens, Visuals are amazing, slow motion adds value to certain scenes.

Colouring was just perfect like madarasapatinam no over saturation nor hue.

This movie on bluray will be treat to watch.

movie is nice but bit low than expected bhodidharma history and jhony character and climax fight are highlights.vfx works are amazing.movie is bit length duration is 2.45 hrs.irrespective of the content the movie makes to feel proud that bodhidharma the martial art expert was born in tamilnadu.

The movie has on paper an OK masala popcorn storyline but is in execution one of the most boring and tortuous experiences I've gone through at a cinema. It suffers the same fatal flaw as Ghajini (at least the Hindi version, which I saw) - after the prologue that sets up the story, we are subjected to an incredibly dull and excruciatingly pointless romance thread that goes on for more than a third of the film - a criminal waste of time.

And the main problem with this film is that the payoff is nowhere worth it. The fight sequences are BORING with too many cuts and random use of slow motion. Surya may lift a lot of weights at the gym but his fighting moves are terribly unconvincing. Contrast this with the Keanu Reeves fight scenes in The Matrix - this has nothing to do with budget, it's about the actor, director and action choreographer putting in the time and effort to present action scenes in a visceral and convincing manner. Compared to the action scenes in The Matrix and in Shankar films like Anniyan and Endhiran this was in most part lazy random bullshit.

ravenus: +1

The story was somewhat interesting and intriguing, but the screenplay was very dull and poorly executed. The BGM was badly done by Harris and the songs were useless and totally wasted. The vfx and action are not up to the mark and could have been a lot better. I was very disappointed, expected a lot for this film.

Totally agree with that.

as a movie buff imagine the following.
Surya After Singham
A R Murgadoss after hindi Ghajni.
Surya and A R Murgadoss after Tamil Ghajni.
Add in the mix the harris jeyraj factor and Gazillion ads for it on all the TV Channels.

The expectations were sky high. But when i watched it and came out i was so disappointed. The movie for me lost its focus after interval.

But the cinematography and the Villan of the movie deserve all the kudos and more.

As I said to people who missed it at the cinemas - best wait for a blu ray of this movie. Would look stunning. Especially the early scenes of the movie.

i dint like the love scenes as it didnt work out between the pair. 1st half was boring esp songs were barrier to the screenplay. But 2nd half was interesting and it certainly has lots replay value after u cut the songs. Bodhidharman sequnces and post interval is good and it tells the plight how tamils are today.
