Woohoo, got the first one off another forums classified a couple weeks ago and so looking forward to this. Hopefully it will be in the cinema by my birthday then I got an excuse for my husband to take me to see it lol (well I can try)

I liked Iron Man but didn't think Robert Downey Jr was all that, I changed my mind after seeing Sherlock Homes and watching all the extras that came with the BR

In case anyone hasn't already seen it yet, pretty sure most have, probably else where on here.

no hints of packaging variations?
I know the last one came as a single disc release or 2 disc set with slip

While this movie was better than the original, i still found it to be rather dull.

I much prefer the BBC re-imagining starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.

Odd release date as that's the long Easter Weekend. Generally major movies come out the week before a bank holiday so that they're in supermarkets in time for the long weekend. Coming out on the bank holiday itself is a little strange.

Most people I have spoken to have said that they prefer this one. I much preferred the first one myself! I couldn't really get into this one in the cinema too much.

I can't decide which of the two I prefer, I need to re-watch the first one. I thought Game of Shadows was a film that started really well, a great first half, but then in the second half it started to go downhill.

I love the first movie. I loved the second movie. I don't love Ultraviolet Digital Copies.

*waiting for the steelbook*

(If HMV don't get a steelbook, then I hope Germany does)

Yer I think I agree with you actually. GoT did start to go downhill after a little while which is maybe why I couldn't get into it...

GoT? Are we confusing Game of Shadows with Game of Thrones?

I'd like a Game Of Shadows steelbook, to go with the first print Sherlock Holmes steelbook that I have though.

(The first print steelbook from Germany, is the one with only Sherlock on the front, Tower Bridge on the back, and interior artwork).

I didn't realise the digital copy was UV; not happy about that. Don't suppose there's any news on a BD/DVD release? Or even a BD release?
