United Kingdom Coppola's The Outsiders (October 31)

The Outsiders Blu-ray

Could this be his overlooked companion to Rumblefish? If so it would be the first uk release since vhs.

Film looks great but never liked it or anyone in it really. A cold film from Coppola.

Already beat you to it, however nice to know it is confirmed as the Coppola film, not great but better than Rumblefish.

I hope Optimum didn't bump The Conversation off the schedule in favour of this...

Guilty pleasure of mine, hope the theatrical cut is included, the extended 'rock n' roll'version would be a disappointment.

Nice to see 2 Coppolas coming out soon, but why is "One From The Heart" DVD only? And missing the old DVD commentary? huh...

I'm very happy about this release as I have the "complete novel version".

The extended 22 mins & Introduction is on my DVD, so i'm glad the Blu ray version is the same with more extras

It's a guilty pleasure, as I actually like the performances especially Ralph Macchio & C. Thomas Howell!

I will say, I like most movies from the 80s & early 90s, as they don't make em' like that anymore!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I have the DVD edition with the extra minutes in movie, which is great, but i HATE the addition of the new music!!!!! I know the music is the songs that Coppola wanted originally but they don't fit after hearing the other stuff for all these years. I was hoping for the original version on BD

I got my cheapo multi-region player for £44 inc delivery which makes a bit of noise but plays the Criterions so I'm happy with it. I'm sure if you wanted to import this there must be a player in the States going for a similar price...?

Yeah I'm actually gonna look into getting a region free player but probably after the new year with tax money

Full size here

I'll be buying this to refresh my memory but I REALLY don't like that shit artwork. Makes it look like a TV show and if you click on that larger size link it looks like a 12 year old designed it with Microsoft Paint.

£12.93 @ Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00525QKUM/ edit -thanks to Steve290886

Looks a great release though.

It has to be done. Night of The Hunter was the import title which forced my hand.

And besides you will probably have to import from the UK to get Rolling Thunder when it finally gets released early next year.
