Germany Dear Brigitte (1965) jimmy stewart

wow, another Jimmy Stewart film came out from Koch in Germany earlier this month--Dear Brigitte from 1965.
It is kind of ironic that some of his most obscure films are being released while far better known ones remain unreleased.
I have seen a ton of his films, but I've never even heard of this one until just now.
Apparently Brigitte Bardot plays herself in this one.

Germany seems to be getting lots of Jimmy Stewart love.

Not obscure to all of us. I rather like the film, which is very entertaining and has James Stewart in one of his most archetypal roles and Brigitte Bardot at her most delightful.

Just saw this and Mr. Hobbs. Hobbs is a bit brownish and faded, but Dear Brigitte is a great transfer all the way down the line. And what a charmer - genuinely funny, with terrific performances and a wonderful score by George Duning.
