found a uk review

Quote:
From Dusk Till Dawn hasn’t received the finest visual transfer that I’ve seen on Blu-ray; there are blemishes from time to time and grain can become visually noisy in some of the darker colour palettes. That said the overall clarity of the general picture often borders on astonishing. The first act actually looks the most striking – the desert palettes are made up of warm oranges and bleak yellows which look stunning in full 1080p with a cinematic 1.85:1 aspect ratio. With rich, but somewhat standard sound (put across in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1) everything is where it should in the mix – voices front and centre, sound effects creeping around the centre edges – but it’s far from the most immersive I’ve heard.
I found the overall presentation to be beautifully realised; its box is donned with a reworking of the classic cinematic poster, which many will have last seen on a VHS box and the menu frames a low angle animated shot of the Titty Twister that appears to have been painted onto the side of a breezeblock building. It’s all very grindhouse and all very cool.

Appears to be. Tested on an Oppo set to region A and it played fine.

Got mine from HMV in the 2 for £15 offer (on Saturday). Not sure why they had it out before release and in the offer, but there you go. Different HMV's appear to have different titles in their sale.

Come on people, someone's got to be able to say for sure whether Full Tilt Boogie is on there?

It's not - I replied to your post yesterday - post 19 - listing all of the extras on the disk.

Ah, okay. I thought your post said you'd only looked at the case, but I mis-read it. Thanks for the info, Fletch.

Losing FTB is a pain, but I'll make a backup before I sell the DVD and stick it in with the Blu-ray.

I had no idea FTB was available seperately. Gotta love Echo Bridge splitting up that and FDTD so they could sell them individually. I'm still gonna go with the backup, but thanks for the info.

or you could wait for the Blu-Ray release, coming out Nov. 29 (must buy full collection) or the single DVD release here: http://www.moviemars.com/i/096009755...gie.htm?u=5608

I just got this from sodvd on ebay - just wanted to check if everyone else just has a grey disk with a blue blu ray disk banner on it?

Only wanted to check so I know its a genuine UK copy as i have never used them before and got it for £10.45. I had messaged them and they said it was the UK version.

I picked up my copy from them and it's got the grey disk art too. It's nothing to worry about though as the UK release of Good Will Hunting does as well, so it's definitely genuine.
