I'm not surprised sales have been poor...they coast as much as a used car, what do they expect? Most PCs are in the hundreds of dollars. The average Joe doesn't need or want a comp that high tech. Apple really needs to get with it on this point. Make your cheap iMacs cheaper and sales will go up. Their cheapest iMac is $1,199. Average Joe can buy a Gateway that does the same things for $650, of course they are going for that. The only reasoning to buy Apple is style.
I would be sad it they stopped making these Mac Pros, as they are premo for designers. |
