Italy Prima Della Rivoluzione (Before The Revolution) (Bernardo Bertolucci) (1964)

'Before The Revolution' has now been released in Italy:

http://www.amazon.it/Prima-Della-Rivoluzione-Adriana-Asti/dp/B005JI2IOO/ref=sr_1_4?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1320093736&sr=1-4

Haven't seen this posted on here and it's not in the database... Just wondering if anyone has this yet and how it compares with the UK BFI release?

Cool! I've got the BFI release which is a BD25 and looks great, but I'm very tempted to get this if the transfer is even better. Are there are any screenshots online?

I've never seen this early Bertolucci and have been wondering for some time whether to make a blind purchase of the BFI release. Now there's a competitor, I'm getting even more tempted....

Would love to see an image comparison of the two as well.

I can't grab screenshots from my BD, but the transfer looks really good, with no DNR at all. Also, RHV bonus features are far better than BFI. In the BFI disc you have 80 minute interviews, in the RHV 180 minute, all English subbed.

I'm in! I've been waiting to see which was the better edition as this has been high on my must-see list.

My question is, where is the best/cheapest retailer to order from with shipping to the US? I've searched high and low and can't seem to find anything less than amazon.it...

You can try Amazon.es. It is EUR 14,07 there.

Thank you! That is def. the cheapest I've seen. Will order Friday on pay day. Finger's crossed there is still stock.

I do wish there were screen caps though that compared this to the BFI.

Apparently RHV released this in the US last year, didn’t realise they were still operating!
