Default audio receiver question...

Hey Guys!

I just bought a new plasma tv (Panasonic S30, 42"). Also, I just bought a pair of Bose 201 speakers for my left and right. I don't plan on using center or rear speakers. This is for a very small room. Even though I wouldn't need a 5.1 receiver, which 5.1 receiver would be best? Budget is no more than $250 for the receiver. Thanks!

I believe there are some Stereo (2.0) Receivers that offer HDMI connectivity, so have a look at those as well.

I have to agree here. I just bought a Sony STRD820 (260 bucks on Amazon). I love it. Sounds great and was a good cheap option for me, it is also a 7.2 so if you grow your system it is good to go.

It's hard to argue with an offer like that.
