The original Home Alone is amazing. One of those classic films that can't be replicated. Just that amazing score alone makes it one of my favorites. Home Alone 1 is my choice.

For me I am a big fan of Saved! and Party Monster. Saved is just the sort of movie that hits too close to home for me--I swear the kids in my youth group were just a skip and a hop away from the stuff in this movie. And Party Monster is simply a dreamland of booze, drugs, and murder. Good stuff.
HA1 & HA2 are both good... though I never watched them more than a couple of times as a kid, so they never had a chance to become nostalgic favorites. |

Uncle Buck is probably the best of his films, but I don't call it a Culkin movie...so I am going with Home Alone 2: Lost In New York. The reason I choose it over the first (even though it's a wonderful film as well) is because of the New York City locale.
Also, when I was young and The Good Son came out I thought he was freaking awesome because he got to say the f work in a movie. ![]() ![]() |

For some strange reason, my sister really likes "Saved!", but I can't stand it. That movie only serves one purpose, and its to paint anyone who truly believes in Jesus and objective truth as being hateful, spiteful, manipulative, jealous, hypocritical, and insane. Meanwhile the only "good" characters are depicted as having little (if any) problems with abortion, premarital sex, or excessive alcohol. Such forms of "entertainment" give true Christians a bad name, and pollute people's mindset about the God we serve.
