Hi All,
I have a Panasonic Blu Ray Player, Comcast HD Cable, and Panasonic HTIB. But only problem I have is the receiver doesn't have 5.1 Multichannel that I want, so only option is the AUX (2 CH). I want to have surround sound from cable & blu. Is it possible to get a splitter and connect the two to the receiver and when I watch tv on hd it will have surround and likewise for my blu? Thanks. |

If your player is the 10, you could tap off the surround audio and feed it to the aux amps inputs and get.... well, not much more that what you have . |

My philosophy does work. I have my monitor sound cable and my 2.1 system on my computer connected together like to the audio port on the back of the computer without loss of sound. I did the same for my HD CABLE & BLU RAY, no loss of sound, just enjoyment and it's clear like before.

Yep, you'll GET sound, not suround sound... You are getting the same sound that is fed to the fronts, in the rears.... You need to de-code the signal to enjoy the DD or DTS 5.1 sound... Each channel has a seperate tract not just a repeat of the fronts
