Re-release of The Hurt Locker is coming in SteelBook form in the UK on the 13th/February/2012.

Yes it's available for pre-order at Sainsbury's Entertainment for a very reasonable £12.99. Hopefully one of the bigger online retailers will stock it though. I wonder if it will be the same as some of the other versions that have been released or if it will be a new design.

I didn't think The Hurt Locker was all that great of a movie, and It was extremely overrated. It surely did not deserved an Oscar for Best Picture of the Year! I've much better war movies than The Hurt Locker.

Looks like this release will have a couple of extras (according to Play) that were absent on the previous release, namely an audio commentary (that was on the US disc) and 4 artcards.

Zavvi.com listing seems to confirm this. So at least it's not just a straight repackaging - we'll be getting the features we should have had in the first place!

£13 is a fairly reasonable asking price too.

That is one awesome steelbook cover, it puts the Korean one to shame hehe, love it and will def double dip now even though I am not a big fan of the film, let's hope it G2/Not a Sticker book and with sticker ratings and maybe inner art and def no triple play banner, too much to ask I know
