No- stereo only.
I would say picture looks more "raw" than this release:

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Mania.../25286/#Review

If you like less processed look than you may like it more. The one from the review looks filtered- it may not have scratches, dust etc, but it's not as sharp.
I prefer Arrow one as it looks more natural- as all latest releases high bitrate encode.

first review of arrow release

spec's
Disc Type: Blu-ray Disc
RCE: No
Video: 1080p
Aspect: 1.85:1
Anamorphic: No
Colour: Yes
Audio: LPCM 2.0 Stereo English
Subtitles: English
Extras: Interviews, Trailers, TV Spots
Easter Egg: No

Quote:
Maniac Cop’s 1.85:1 (1080/24p AVC) transfer has plenty of natural grain on show for a surprisingly filmic look. Although heavier in scenes that feature low lighting the grain is pretty consistent and I didn't find it particularly distracting. Detail is generally strong throughout, certainly when compared to any DVD release, but there are a few scenes where the image looks soft and unfocussed. However, I believe this is due to the original materials rather than noise reduction after the fact. I was most pleased with the colour palette, which is strong and natural (more so than the US disc if the caps I've seen are any indication)
full review and screen shots

also other cover options

Default U.S. or U.K.?

Looks like the UK version has better extras and cooler cover art. Can anyone tell me if they have seen both, and which they prefer? Thanks

Did they only make like 10 copies of this??

No stores have it, Guildford HMV said it never arrived on 31st Oct and it has a 2week delivery date - which basically means out of stock

online it has a month delivery date with a couple of suppliers.

I'd like this, I'm not spending eBay prices.

Could anyone who has this give a little review, to see if its worth the hunt around ??

Infact Amazon, HMV have it for the same price, and in stock.

I like the U.S blu-ray cover art, and case much better! As a matter of fact, I have it. The special features, I couldn't care less about because, I never watch them anyway. I only want the movie!

Different extras, but I believe I read the Arrow has very slightly better in video and audio?

That's what I was thinking judging by the screen caps I've seen. Synapse seems to have a dull looking image. I'm not sure about the audio myself.

Well the US BD has the original stereo, a 4.0 surround mix and a 6.1 mix all in lossless

I went for the US BD originally but plan to get the UK edition (slip box if possible) for the exclusive features

I ordered the Arrow version two months ago from Amazon.co.uk and it came with the slipcover. For some reason the product page shows the cover without the slip.
